Yoga Sadhana Delft was founded in fall 2017 and is dedicated to teaching yoga in the Sivananda tradition.
Sivananda Yoga is a traditional and holistic approach to Yoga, based on the teachings of Swami Sivananda and Swami Vishnudevananda. The practice of asanas (postures) is combined with breathing exercises, meditation and mantra chanting. In this way, both mind and body are balanced and revitalised, leading to an experience of peacefulness and well-being.
Anna Geyer (spiritual name Omkari) took her first yoga class as a child. Yoga has always been an important part of her life. She completed her Sivananda Yoga Teacher’s Training Course (RYS 200) in the Himalayas of India in 2015 and has been teaching in the Sivananda tradition ever since.
